Lysebu boasts a long and proud history dating back to 1945, when the estate was gifted from Norway to Denmark in gratitude for their humanitarian aid during World War II. Since then, Lysebu has been a symbol of the friendship between our two nations. We have always held deep respect for Danish culinary traditions, and this is reflected in our A La Carte menu. We draw inspiration from Danish cuisine while embracing the finest Norwegian ingredients and culinary techniques.
