At Lysebu, great events are not just about meeting rooms and dinner – but about experiences that create atmosphere, presence, and memories.
In collaboration with the cultural agency Meadow, we offer curated cultural performances specifically developed for Lysebu’s surroundings. These performances can be naturally integrated into conferences, parties, and dinners, adding an extra dimension to the event without distracting from the program.

It could be a brief musical moment to open the evening, live background music during
mingling, or an atmospheric interlude between program items.
All concepts are based on Lysebu’s history, the surrounding nature, and Nordic cultural heritage – and are developed to function seamlessly in professional events.

The Heart’s Thermometer
A warm and atmospheric performance inspired by the story
of the Danish Relief and the friendship between Norway and
Denmark.

In the Forest, Up in the Light
A poetic musical performance inspired by the forest,
the silence, and the views surrounding Lysebu.

Nordic Nuances
A musical presentation of Lysebu and Henie Onstad’s
collaboration “From Fjord to Mountain.” Modern Norwegian and
Danish songs in elegant acoustic arrangements.

Curated Tones
Discreet, atmospheric background music with
acoustic instruments, or a DJ in collaboration with musicians.

The story of the Danish Relief

An atmospheric cultural performance inspired by the history
behind Lysebu – the gift from Denmark to Norway after the war
through the Danish Relief.

About the musical piece
We have found original poems written by grateful
Norwegians and set them to music in a modern style.
Through music and short stories, the history
of solidarity, reconstruction, and the friendship between
Norway and Denmark is highlighted in a warm and poetic format.

A brief cultural-historical moment that gives the event
depth and context.

Performed by 2-3 musicians, and can be adjusted in duration
from 5-20 minutes (as one or more performances during the event).

In the Forest and Up in the Light

A poetic and atmospheric performance that reflects
the nature surrounding Lysebu.

About the musical piece:

Inspired by the forest, the silence, and the views surrounding
Lysebu, this performance creates a musical journey
through Nordic landscapes. Artists have always been
inspired by nature, and we have put together
a repertoire with options within classical
music, folk music, and pop music with this
theme.

The performance can be presented as a mini-concert outdoors,
or indoors with beautiful nature images on a screen in the background.

Performed by 1-3 musicians,
duration 5-20 minutes as one or more performances during
the event.

Nordic Nuances

In the post-war period, the friendship between Norway and Denmark has continued through rich cultural cooperation,
and many artists have worked and created art across borders. For nearly 20 years, Lysebu and Henie Onstad have collaborated on the exhibition project “From Fjord to Mountain,” showcasing Norwegian and Danish art. As a musical extension of this collaboration, we have developed the performance Nordic
Nuances.

About the musical piece
The music moves between folk, jazz, and lyrical pop – Nordic tones in a modern style, accessible
and atmospheric. An elegant musical performance with a repertoire from contemporary Norwegian and Danish artists, performed in acoustic and intimate arrangements.

Performed by 1-3 artists, duration 5-20 minutes as one or more performances during the event.

Mingling Music and DJ

Acoustic mingling music creates a warm and elegant frame for the event – with live music performed by skilled musicians who elevate the atmosphere
without taking attention away from conversations.

The repertoire is adapted to the room and the occasion, providing
guests with a vibrant, sophisticated atmosphere from the first
moment.

Would you like a DJ for your event?
We can also offer a DJ or a DJ in combination with instruments
such as saxophone, violin, or vocals. The repertoire is curated specifically for the event and adapted to the rest of the program. We are happy to put together comprehensive cultural programs for a total experience where guests can experience the artists in different groups and performances throughout the event.
