Experience an exclusive classical concert in beautiful surroundings, combined with art and exquisite culinary experiences.
Program
5:00 PM with an aperitif, followed by an art tour of the hotel in several groups for those who wish.
6:00 PM concert with a string quartet from the Oslo Philharmonic, performing Nordic folk music and atmospheric Christmas melodies. The event concludes around. 19.00.
Art Tour
The art tour is guided.
We have a fantastic permanent art exhibition, a collaboration with Henie Onstad Art Centre. Here you can see art by Norwegian and Danish artists on the theme “From Fjord to Mountain,” such as Jan Groth, Carl Nesjar, Kjell Nupen, Inger Sitter, Kåre Tveter, Jakob Weidemann, Ulf Valde Jensen, Zdenka Rusova, Dagfinn Werenskiold, and Sverre Wyller.
The Queen’s Room
At Lysebu, there is also a beautiful room with art by Queen Sonja and Queen Margrethe, art that the Queens themselves have selected.
Juleutstilling med Jette Frölich
The sales exhibition with Jette Frölich’s beautiful Christmas decorations is also open and can be combined on this occasion.

The event costs NOK 495 per participant. Registration is binding and non-refundable.
The event is also open to non-members of the Friends of the Oslo Philharmonic, so feel free to bring a friend or family member!
