Wedding ambiance at Lysebu

The ambiance, nature, buildings, interiors, our extensive experience and the people who work with us all guarantee that your wedding celebration at Lysebu will be truly memorable. In the wintertime you can arrive by horse and sleigh, with the entire yard filled with torches that create a magical winter ambiance. Or how about enjoying a refreshing aperitif on the terrace, basking in the summer sun with beautiful music in the background? We leave nothing to chance. You are assigned your own personal wedding coordinator who takes responsibility for the entire planning process. Our job isn’t done until we’re standing in the yard and waving goodbye to the joyful newlyweds and their satisfied guests. You are welcome to contact us for a non-binding tour of our wedding venues.

The wedding dinner

The dinner is the highlight of the wedding celebration. We use the best seasonal ingredients and our set menus are adapted to suit the time of year. We seek out small-scale, local producers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, natural and who base their operations on ecological principles. Lysebu also has one of Norway’s best wine cellars, and our sommeliers will create wine pairings for your menu, ensuring a fantastic experience.

The wedding cake

The wedding cake is an event in itself, and the moment when the bridal couple cut the first piece of cake together is one of the highlights of the wedding celebration. At Lysebu we create the wedding cake in our own patisserie, and we can promise delicious cakes made from premium ingredients. Flowers and colours from the bridal bouquet are often reflected in the design of the wedding cake, but it’s up to you to decide how your perfect cake will look.

For the traditional. Magnus Poulson has designed and decorated these premises. The decorated ceiling vaulting over the chandeliers makes this a unique hall. The carpets are woven especially for the hall, and were unveiled by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe. Suitable for parties up to 80 people.
