We at Lysebu have a fantastic garden area with flowers, a kitchen garden, and beehives. We want to share all of this with our neighbors. Many people who have moved from houses with gardens to apartments miss working with the soil. Lysebu has large areas that are not being utilized and needs many diligent hands that enjoy tending to the garden. This is why we came up with the idea to establish a voluntary garden club. Members of the garden club come whenever they want, but we have designated garden club time every Monday from 1:00 PM for those who want to meet others. Primarily, we focus on flower beds and the kitchen garden. We produce food, herbs, and flowers for use at the hotel, but any surplus – as there always is – can be taken home by the volunteers.
